What is a nilos ring?

It is a pressed steel ring or plate that fits up to the side of a standard bearing to seal the inner or outer ring from the ingress of dirt. They can be used as primary seals (i.e. the only seal) or secondary (additional) seals.

What sort of bearing can you use it with?

Almost any ball, cylindrical roller, taper roller or spherical roller bearing having standard ISO dimensions.

How do I find the correct ring?

Specify the bearing reference and the type of ring required For example Bearing 6205 with AV rings becomes 6205AV - simple as that!
