Torque Resistant Spline Shafts for SSP, SPF & SPR Ball Bushings
Induction hardened steel shafts for torque resistant ball bushings. Two levels of precision are available:
TYPE S
Type SP..S which is available in the sizes and lengths shown in the dimension list below. This is a ground bar with gothic arch profiles to accept the balls. Three pre-loads are available. None, Light (SuffixT1) & Medium (Suffix T2). Tolerance for twist is 13 microns per 100mm of shaft (standard) and 6 microns per 100mm of shaft (precision). Straightness values are given in the table below per 1000mm
TYPE C
Type SP..C which is available from 20mm to 50mm nominal diameters. This is a drawn shaft. To order this type use Part no SP --C x .... where "--" is the nominal diameter and "...." is the length in mm. Straightness tolerance is 1mm per 1000mm. Twist tolerance is 100 microns per 100mm of shaft. The load capacity for the drawn spline shafts is 70% of the values for the ground spline shafts.
