Megi-V bearings have a variety of uses in the mounting of sensitive instruments etc., which are to be protected against shock. They can be loaded in compression (at right angles to the metal plates) or in sher (parallel to the metal plates).

Maximum permissible loads:

In continous static loading the spring deflection should generally be not more than 3.5mm in compression and no more than 5mm in shear. The loads corresponding to these deflections can be taken from the spring characteristic curves.
